Network Administrator

Hutt Electric Supply is a distributor of quality electrical supplies for contractors, businesses and industry for mid Wisconsin counties.
JOB SUMMARY
As a key member of Hutt Electric Supply, this position is responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, hardware/software and office systems, and desktop systems and printers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Network administration and Support. Including but not limited to office systems and application support, web server, company server, e-mail systems, user account management, security management, back up systems, company website and intranet.
  • Performs technology needs analysis and recommendations.
  • Creates and maintains monthly reports on servers and client computer’s hardware, software.
  • Keeps entire network secure while providing users with top notch network speed.
  • Perform software upgrades in a secure and timely fashion.
  • Able to perform hardware maintenance and upgrades on computers and printers.
  • Able to work professionally with little or no supervision.
  • Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
    • QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
    EXPERIENCE
    • Two to Five years of experience as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, printers and communication devices using current technologies.
    • Demonstrated experience dealing and supporting ERP systems.
    • Web developing background with emphasis in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
    • Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
    • Working knowledge of SQL language a plus.

    Local Delivery Driver

    Hutt Electric Supply is seeking an individual who is interested in flexible days, with a minimun three (3) days per week and about 25 to 30 hours per week. This individual will be responsible for timely, accurate delivery of merchandise to local customers via delivery van. A clean driving record preferred.
